Wrapping a Dark Pallet with Opaque White Machine Film

Here we are wrapping a dark pallet with our WMG20 Opaque White Security wrap. The Revolution PS Wrapper is stretching the opaque film 225% and as you can see it has lost a lot of white opacity.

To hide the contents on the pallet you will need to do a 4x4 wrap pattern to cover the dark product on the pallet. Wrapping your pallets in white opaque stretch wrap is ideal when security and theft is an issue. If your pallet loads are a high dollar value and travel long distances outside your company’s care, opaque white pallet wrap is a great solution.

White Opaque Stretch Film is a tamper evident product so you can tell if the pallet load has been broken into. Opaque White stretch wrap is also ideal for wrapping temperature sensitive pallet loads as the white film doesn’t attract the heat.

Color coding isn’t the only benefit of using colored stretch films, it can also help with supply chain security by acting as tamper-evident packaging. For example, using black film will prevent people from seeing what products are wrapped in the pallet. Many pharmaceutical companies use this process.

Colored stretch wrap is also less common and harder to come by than standard stretch film. This means that thieves or other parties with ill intentions will have a harder time re-wrapping pallets accurately after stealing from or otherwise tampering with them.
