Gypsum Pallet Sheets
Gypsum Sheets are an excellent low-cost alternative often used for interleaving, pallet liners, or auto floor mats. The sheet can vary in color from white to cream. Calipers for this paper vary from 12 to 18 point. It is a very sturdy paper with a great deal of resistance to moisture penetration. This makes the sheet versatile, especially in high moisture environments. It is available in a limited range of widths, mostly centering around 48 inches. Gypsum varies in caliper; however, it is the most cost-effective product used for pallet covers. This product is used as a barrier to protect products from being damaged by pallet splinters and nail heads as well as used for interleaving purposes. The standard sheet size is 40×48 but can be produced in other sizes. Gypsum is the lightest of the Chipboard products, it is an “off-spec” item.
