Here are some of the most common styles of corrugated boxes: Regular Slotted Container (RSC): The most common box style. Highly efficient design for many applications. All flaps are the same length, and the two outer flaps (normally the lengthwise flaps) are one-half the container’s width, so that they meet at the center of the box when closed. Half Slotted Container (HSC): Similar to the regular slotted container but without one set of flaps. Overlap Slotted Container (OSC): All flaps are the same length, and the outer flaps overlap by one inch or more. A-Flute rolls are available from 2″ to 84″, and B-Flute rolls are available from 2″ to 96″.  Both the Medium (fluted) and Liner (flat) sides of Singleface are made up of 23#/26# Medium which is a stock product.  The basis weight of the medium side can range from 18# up to 33#, or higher, per customer’s request.  Basis weight choices range from 18# to 69#, on the Liner side of Singleface.  The Liner side can be constructed with either Medium or Linerboard, depending on basis weights available from paper mills.  Roll lengths are from 50′ to 450′ for A-Flute rolls, and 50′ to 750′ for B-Flute.  Singleface is a non-test product, which means there are no standard ratings for the product.  Getting the size of your corrugated cartons right is important as it can have a knock-on effect across your supply chain from minimum order quantities, through to storage and customer experience. How to measure a corrugated box:  corrugated box dimensions are usually expressed as: Length (L) x Width (W) x Height (H). Length = the longest opening dimension Width = the shorted opening dimension Height = the dimension from the top of the opening to the base of the box (sometimes referred to as depth). We always recommend measuring corrugated boxes in inches.
