Wide Web Cast Stretch Film

The term “wide web” refers to pallet stretch film wider than 30 inches. Many companies choose to use wide web stretch wrap for a variety of reasons. Some are wrapping large objects that require a wider than thirty-inch stretch film.  Wide web stretch film enables users to wrap tall pallets and carts with less revolutions and time. This helps to save on both energy costs and film costs.

There are still a lot of the older stretch wrappers out on the market that were made specifically to use 40, 50-, 60-, 70- and 80-inch-wide stretch film.  Special applications where the wide web stretch film is used to wrap products horizontally and specific dispensers are made for these applications.
