LLDPE: March increase set for stretch (Hike #2)
PE suppliers have implemented a resin price increase effective March 1st. This increase is reportedly supported by improving domestic/global resin demand and rising feedstock costs.
In response to this new March resin increase, all orders received on or after March 27th will be priced with a 7% increase.

Also, another respected analyst suggested that $.03 out of the newly announced $.06 (LLDPE) increase in March could happen and to plan accordingly.

Saving Money Using Banding Stretch Film to Ship UPS and FEDEX

Here in this video I have 10 cases I'm shipping out UPS Ground.  The cost is $68 total for the 10 cases.  I used 5" wide Stretch Banding Film by Quick Pak Inc and wrapped the cases in packs of 2.  That took about 5 min and the cost to ship the same 10 cases wrapped in two's cost just over $30 total.
