Service work done on a Polychem PC1000 Arch Strapping Machine

Polychem PC1000 Automatic Arch Strapper is in for service and repair.  This machine had many years of running without any service or repair done to the unit.  The machine was miss feeding strap, not sealing the strap and the strap was falling out of the arch.

There was a large build up of melted strap around sealing and heater area, this was causing all sorts of issues.  All the strap guides needed to be adjusted and reset.  Machine was cleaned and all moving parts checked for wear and then lubricated.  All the springs were checked, and weak ones were replaced.  The whole machine was cleaned out and compressed was used to remove all the strap dust that covered the inside of the machine.  Few hours-of-service work and now this unit is running like new and ready for many more years of production.
