What is UVI in Stretch Wrap For?
For outdoor storage and transport, our line of UV-stabilized stretch films provides excellent protection from ultraviolet rays.
Formulated from our proven Weather-All formula, our UVI
films contain a UV inhibitor to protect the film, and the product contained
within, from degradation due to exposure to sunlight. Most conventional stretch
films can begin to degrade within 30 days of outdoor storage. In contrast, our
UVI films can withstand up to 12 months of outdoor storage without degradation
due to ultraviolet exposure. Our UVI machine films are available in a variety
of gauges from lightweight to heavy-duty to accommodate all your long-term
storage and transportation requirements.
Provides protection for products that can degrade with
sunlight: Selecting a UVI stretch film becomes essential to shield your
product from sunlight-induced degradation, preserving its quality and integrity
throughout storage or transportation in outdoor or sun-exposed settings.
Reduces damages caused by UV rays: Utilizing a UVI
stretch film is crucial to mitigate damage inflicted by UV rays, safeguarding
your goods from potential degradation, discoloration, or structural weakening
due to prolonged exposure to sunlight.
Preserves strength and quality during prolonged exposure:
UVI films preserve their strength and quality in sunlight due to the
incorporation of additives that absorb or reflect UV radiation. These additives
prevent the UV rays from penetrating and breaking down the molecular structure
of the film, thereby maintaining its integrity, flexibility, and protective
capabilities even after prolonged exposure to sunlight.
