Composite Cord and Woven (the other Strapping)


Whether you need strapping to secure your products on the pallet, protect items during shipping or to bundle products together, Quick Pak carries a wide variety of strapping materials.  We also stock the other strapping, composite cord and woven strap. 

Composite Strapping (MAKOStrap): A composite material consisting of strands of high tensile polyester yarn encased in a weatherproof coating of polypropylene. It is stiff enough to push through pallet voids but will not damage your products. It is shock absorbent and retains tension while products are being transported. Its smooth edges make it safe for anyone handling it.

MAKO-Strap Composite Polyester Strapping Cord is designed for use in truck, rail and intermodal shipment applications. This product can be used for both load securement and bundling of light and medium duty products, manufactured in the USA and has approval for use from the AAR (Association of American Railroads).

Textile Strapping (GATORStrap): Heavy duty, weather resistant, woven polyester strapping. Ideal for wood products where high tension is desired and outdoor storage may cause steel strapping to rust. Soft and flexible, GATORStrap will not damage painted surfaces.

Designed for use in rail, intermodal and OTR trucking, it meets the required break strength and joint efficiency standards set by the AAR, making it ideal for a wide range of applications.
