Amtopp Stretch Film Price Increase for April 11th 2016

AmTopp has announced a MARKET PRICE INCREASE for April 11th due to resin price increases by resin manufacturers. 

Announced 5% increase with new orders placed on or after April 11th.

Leading reasons for Resin Based Price Increase:  (overall the bottom line is supply & demand)

a.            Jan-Feb:  overall resin inventories are down

b.            Ethylene (feed stock) price is increasing

c.            Oil price is increasing

d.            Resin Exports increasing

AmTopp wants you (our customers) to have proper notice period of this increase so you can start to plan accordingly (orders, inventory) and communicate as you see fit to your sales team & customers.

This increase will certainly develop in the coming weeks (competitors, dates, amounts)  ------ more updates to certainly come.

CURRENT LEAD TIMES:

•             Some item general stock is available in TX and Charlotte.

•             Overall lead times are in the 2-4 week range.

•             I would expect order volume to increase (and lead times) as we get closer to April 11th Increase…..

•             Please stay AHEAD of PSB Pre Stretch inventory and lead times (3-4 weeks and sure to climb ).

•             NEXT COLOR RUN:  week of April-04-2016, about 4 weeks from now  (Blue and Black)
