Sigma Stretch Film Price increase June 2014

Interesting letter from film supplier.  No market increase on the resin.  Let's see if this will take.

SIGMA STRETCH FILM

May 13, 2014

Dear Valued Customer, As you know, Sigma Stretch Film has experienced unprecedented resin increases over the last 18 months, which we have addressed with previously implemented film increases.

Unfortunately, we have also seen increases in other areas such as utilities, packaging, freight, labor, and other raw materials that we have not previously accounted for in our film increases.

In response to these non-resin related cost increases, Sigma Stretch Film will increase pricing by 4% on all new orders received on or after June 2nd, 2014. Orders placed before June 2nd, 2014 will be limited to one month of your normal purchase levels. All orders must call for immediate delivery.

Sigma Stretch Film reserves the right to accept or decline all orders for any reason. Please check with your local plant for lead-times. As always, Sigma Stretch Film appreciates your business and support. Our goal is to be able to continue to supply you with industry-leading products and support at competitive prices.

Your Sigma Stretch Film sales representative will be in contact with you to answer any of your questions and advise you of changing market conditions.

Sincerely,
Bill Lenchinsky
Vice President/Sales
