Dow Chemical looking for Resin Increase in March 2015

The Dow Chemical Company has issued notice of their intent to increase all grades of their Polyethylene by $.05/lb effective March 15, 2015. (Read letter) 




LLDPE STEADY FOR NOW "Polyethylene was about steady on average, some grades continued weaker, while others firmed."

LLDPE PRICE DROP SUPPORT UNEVEN IN U.S. "PE contracts should decrease in February; the $.05/lb initially nominated seems appropriate, but has not yet been supported by all producers."

MARKET DYNAMICS I "Natural Gas posted an 8% gain, rising $.21/mmBtu"

Saving Money Using Banding Stretch Film to Ship UPS and FEDEX

Here in this video I have 10 cases I'm shipping out UPS Ground.  The cost is $68 total for the 10 cases.  I used 5" wide Stretch Banding Film by Quick Pak Inc and wrapped the cases in packs of 2.  That took about 5 min and the cost to ship the same 10 cases wrapped in two's cost just over $30 total.
