Stretch Film Resin Pricing News

Polyethylene gave back the half-cent it had garnered the previous week - we could be seeing the highest PE prices for this market cycle.


Resellers and exporters were aggressive sellers, influenced more by falling Ethylene prices than the $.04/lb price increase nominated for April.

Polyethylene contracts already rose $.09/lb during the first quarter and based on the current condition of the spot Ethylene market, this added increase seems unlikely.

Saving Money Using Banding Stretch Film to Ship UPS and FEDEX

Here in this video I have 10 cases I'm shipping out UPS Ground.  The cost is $68 total for the 10 cases.  I used 5" wide Stretch Banding Film by Quick Pak Inc and wrapped the cases in packs of 2.  That took about 5 min and the cost to ship the same 10 cases wrapped in two's cost just over $30 total.
