Spot Polyethylene prices pressed higher, with gains up to $.01/lb seen – HDPE was the strongest segment of the market. Polyethylene producers have a $.05/lb increase on the table for August, and while one producer relaxed their stance to just $.03/lb, no one else seems to be following suit. PE producers as a group are sitting on their lightest resin inventories of the year, this coupled with good exports and rapidly rising spot Ethylene costs.   More info on this is available from:
