To Valued Distributors: Please see attached resin increase letters from Dow, Chevron and Exxon announcing a .05# increase for September 1, 2013. This increase is in addition to the $.04 cpp already announced for August 1st. In total, the resin guys have two increases on the table moving into our busiest season of the year. I'm not sure what's going to happen here, but feel confident the market is not going any lower. My feeling is that you should take a good look at your current inventory positions and have a conversation with some of your strategic end users and bring in enough inventory to cover the next 60 days. Sigma Stretch Film has added additional capacity in our Pre Stretch/ ECO product lines in 2013, but we all know that 3rd & 4th quarters are extremely high demand months for this product.
