  Using black opaque film either by hand or on a machine, we feel blown film has the true opaque black needed to cover the pallet in one go around the pallet. Cast black film is more of a tint and requires more times around the pallet to make it opaque. Cast is great option if noise is an issue (wrapping near offices), as it is almost silent coming off the roll. Black Opaque Blown Stretch Wrap can help with supply chain security by acting as tamper-evident packaging. For example, using Black film will prevent people from seeing what products are wrapped in the pallet. Many pharmaceutical companies use this process. In packaging, WAT was previously the standard taping method for decades until polyethylene tape (pressure sensitive tape) arrived as an affordable and convenient alternative.
