Using Colored Packaging Tape

Colored packaging tape is an overlooked method to color-code your products for identification and sorting. Used as an alternative to custom-made labels, adhesive packing tape is a convenient and very economical solution.

Colored tape is a great way to identify your boxes of products and categorize them into groups. This is used to separate products for QA, stock take, and quarantine purposes to ensure they don’t get mistaken for other loads.

Color coding is used widely in the food and medicine industry. This allows you to mark the packaging or item with a particular color which reflects the nature of the category of the product.

This enables items to be treated in a necessary way based on parameters such as fragility, storage temperature and shelf life. Saving Money Using Banding Stretch Film to Ship UPS and FEDEX

Here in this video I have 10 cases I'm shipping out UPS Ground.  The cost is $68 total for the 10 cases.  I used 5" wide Stretch Banding Film by Quick Pak Inc and wrapped the cases in packs of 2.  That took about 5 min and the cost to ship the same 10 cases wrapped in two's cost just over $30 total.
