There is an outside chance we could see a penny or two slide in November, but more likely this will wait until December. Just in time for the holidays. See below excerpt from this weeks The Plastics Exchange article: There was very little movement in spot Polyethylene prices during this past week. While PE resins in general are adequately supplied, specific grades are sometimes hard to source. Although technically there is a price increase out there, rolled over from October, suppliers are not pursuing it and fresh railcar offers were seen at basically the same levels as the past several weeks. Processors are set on earning some price relief before the end of the year, but time is starting to run thin. Traders and...

Fast Strapping from Quick Pak Inc

QUICK TIP FROM Quick Pak Strapping PAC Battery Powered Tools are a great alternative to manual tools of any kind. Key benefits are: • Total consistency in application, no matter who the operator is. You can’t get them wrong. • Eliminate repetitive motion injuries. The tool provides the “muscle” not the operator. • Save the cost of manual seals. • Seal joints are 30% greater than with manual seals. You can save money on the strap by downsizing the strap, because you have upgraded the “weakest link” in the strap system. • Make recycling easier by eliminating seals. At the receiving end you are just recycling plastic, no contaminants. A Quick instructional video is at: http://quickpakinc.com/videos.html
