Polyethylene resin supply was improved and prices softened slightly. Weak export demand and falling Crude Oil prices have lowered the floor price which has been supporting the domestic market. For the second month in a row, Polyethylene resin producers were unable to implement their $.05/lb price increase; sure they will give it another shot in November, but buyers seem a bit weary.
