Chem Data Report for May 2015 showing  increase of $.05/lb. (e). on HDPE,LDPE,LLDPE




The Polyethylene market was very busy, processors continued to scoop up cost-effective material while they negotiate the May price increase. 

This past week spot PE prices added another $.02/lb, lifting prices a total of $.06-.08/lb from the mid-March low. Spot prices have not only eliminated the discount it had held to contracts, but now also reflects $.03/lb of the $.05/lb increase.

Saving Money Using Banding Stretch Film to Ship UPS and FEDEX

Here in this video I have 10 cases I'm shipping out UPS Ground.  The cost is $68 total for the 10 cases.  I used 5" wide Stretch Banding Film by Quick Pak Inc and wrapped the cases in packs of 2.  That took about 5 min and the cost to ship the same 10 cases wrapped in two's cost just over $30 total.
