For the third time this year, major polyethylene film makers are seeking non-resin price increases for their products. AEP Industries Inc., Sigma Plastics Group and Berry Plastics Corp. each recently have sent letters to customers indicating price increases effective Dec. 1. Hackensack, N.J.-based AEP and Lyndhurst, N.J-based Sigma each are seeking increases of 4 percent. The increase amount cited by Evansville, Ind.-based Berry is 3-5 percent.

Saving Money Using Banding Stretch Film to Ship UPS and FEDEX

Here in this video I have 10 cases I'm shipping out UPS Ground.  The cost is $68 total for the 10 cases.  I used 5" wide Stretch Banding Film by Quick Pak Inc and wrapped the cases in packs of 2.  That took about 5 min and the cost to ship the same 10 cases wrapped in two's cost just over $30 total.
