Subject: January CDI No change for PVC but they are predicting $.03 - $.05/lb increase for February and another $.03/lb for March. LLDPE up $.05/lb for January. $.04 predicted rise in February.

Corrugated Flutes are the S shaped waves/arches of a corrugated box that makes up the board. This is called the boards corrugation. Flutes are essentially the reinforcement that make up the board. Preventative Maintenance for Arch Strapping Machines

  Automatic arch strapping machines with more moving parts and electronic components, automatic machines require a bit more attention. Checklist: Daily: Clear strap dust and debris from the machine – particularly near the cutters and strap guide. Remove plastic residue. Weekly: Lubricate the front bar, press bar and rear bar. Monthly: Check all belts and gears for wear and tear. Clean both sides of the heater plate. Check cam rollers of seal head for easy movement. Slide table back to home position automatically by the spring tension. Clean any debris in the tension roller. Every 6 Months: Perform a deep clean and test all sensors for accuracy. Check the heater plate and make sure the connector at the wiring loom to the printed circuit board is firmly fixed.
