Resin going up in Jan 1st 2013

Effective January 1, 2013, NOVA Chemicals will increase the price for all grades of polyethylene resins by five cents ($0.05) USD per pound. Should you have any questions regarding product availability, pricing, or current orders, please contact your NOVA Chemicals Account Manager.

Resin markets were busy this week and prices were mixed. The spot Ethylene market was very busy, volumes were high and prices rose. After 3 failed attempts to implement a nickel increase, which finally resulted in a net loss of $.02/lb in Nov, producers are skipping December and have instead issued a fresh $.05/lb price hike for January.

Saving Money Using Banding Stretch Film to Ship UPS and FEDEX

Here in this video I have 10 cases I'm shipping out UPS Ground.  The cost is $68 total for the 10 cases.  I used 5" wide Stretch Banding Film by Quick Pak Inc and wrapped the cases in packs of 2.  That took about 5 min and the cost to ship the same 10 cases wrapped in two's cost just over $30 total.
